[LELC] SAN JAVIER AIR BASE

The Murcia-San Javier Airport is a military air base of the Air Force that was open to civil traffic as a public airport managed by Aena until January 14, 2019


It is located on the northern bank of the Mar Menor, in the district of Santiago de la Ribera in the municipality of San Javier, Region of Murcia, Spain.


It closed to civil traffic as of January 15, 2019, being replaced from that day by the new International Airport of the Region of Murcia.


It is the headquarters of the "Patrulla Aguila" the acrobatic squadron of the Spanish air force.
